Celebrate with us this summer...
We have some really exciting news to share with you, we have won the Independent Hotel of the Year at the Catey Awards, these awards are the Oscars of the hotel world. Great recognition of a fantastic team effort!
We also have our brand new website up and running. We would love to hear what you think, so feel free to have a look and get in touch.
We were really excited to get a visit last week from Paralympic hopeful Karen Darke as she stopped off on her Fit 2 Wheel challenge.
We have been nominated in an amazing 3 categories in the Spa Traveller awards and need to ask for your help to vote for us to get us into the finals before the end of July.
Finally... no space for an article, but as its July, a reminder that Christmas is just around the corner - yes really! Our brochure is ready, and we have full details full of our festive events and packages, so please book early.

We were presented with our Independent Hotel of the Year award at the Catey awards in London. The Catey awards, widely regarded as the Oscars of the hospitality industry, are judged by experts in the field. To win our category the hotel had to "show excellence in its chosen market, offer an example to which others can aspire...and be able to demonstrate particular acheivements in the past year." We were thrilled to be nominated and even more delighted to win.

Paralympic hopeful Karen Darke stopped off on her Fit 2 Wheel tour which aims to raise awareness of spinal injury units across Northern England in Middlesborough, Wakefield and Sheffield. She is also raising funds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Karen is also a popular motivational speaker on subjects such as overcoming challenges and embracing change.
