The last few months have been really successful with our Catey Award naming us the best Independent Hotel of the Year. We have had a really busy summer and we now look forward to continuing this success in the run up to Christmas - talking of which, if you are looking for a relaxing break over Christmas or New Year, our festive packages can be booked now.
Why not join us for one of our seasonal events, which are booking now. A full programme is available online. We're looking forward to welcoming Mike Pannett on the 28th September as he talks about his latest novel "Just the Job, Lad". York Theatre Royal tread the boards, bringing Laurel and Hardy to the hotel on 2nd November, and Paralympic athlete Karen Darke joins us later in November for a motivational and inspiring lunchtime talk.

Our brand new series of Autumn events has just been launched. We welcome back the popular literary lunches this year. Starting on Wednesday 28th September with entertainment and book signings from well-known author Mike Pannett, as his latest book "Just the Job, Lad" hits the shelves. Mike's books tell stories from his time as a local policeman in Ryedale, so he will be right at home here at the Fev. Tickets are £29.50 per person including a two course lunch.
